While COVID-19 is prevalent in SC and the Columbia area, citizens are making many efforts to mitigate their risk, primarily COVID vaccination and use of facial masks. Additionally, many have immunity due to prior COVID infection. With these protections in place, many churches, organizations, and facilities are re-opening access and operations, and individuals are taking advantage of this access. While Longcreek has minimized congregational activities to virtual worship services in order to protect our more vulnerable members, we appreciate the need and yearning to once again meet face to face. We realize that many are returning to more normal activities; consequently we will resume face-to-face worship services and Bible classes on Sunday October 10. We will be using the following precautions to provide members’ safety and ask your cooperation. 1. If you are ill, please do not attend service. 2. Members will have temperature check upon entering the sanctuary. 3. Members over age 10 will wear masks in classes and in the assembly especially during song service. 4. Practice social distancing to the extent possible with separation of households by 3 feet. 5. Upon dismissal, please exit building to socialize in open spaces to extent possible.
